Street Intervention is a dynamic social intervention enterprise whose single purpose is to transform the lives of disadvantaged youth, disaffected with the gang culture which prevails in their respective communities.
Our Appropriate Intervention Model* goes beyond educational and career progressions. Our interventions are dedicated to positively changing lifestyles. We seek to equip the young of all nationalities, ethnicities and/or cultures for becoming not simply good citizens, but also active participants in the regeneration of their neighbourhoods and their country.
Our approach to venturing beyond the ‘familiar’ has gained us national and international award winning recognition.

* The Appropriate Intervention Model encourages and challenges the way local communities and community development professionals collaborate, to support young, often disaffected communities, to be lead participants in their regeneration.
It is not institutionally or organisationally dependent or 9 until 5 timeframe limited. It offers three layers of intervention, which are led by Streets of Growth and the very communities we partner.
1) Interrupt and coach young people to transform negative ‘codes of the street’ lifestyles.
2) Offer alternate approaches to education incorporating youth enterprise and street based lifestyle change.
3) Give young communities real experiences of leading neighbourhood regeneration at every level of the consulting, decision making, and delivery process.
