The 2017 London Arabia was able to bring together artists, authors and designers from over ten Arab countries, allowing for a truly unique gathering of diverse Arab cultures. This helped cement the London Arabia Art & Fashion Week as a mainstay on London’s thriving cultural landscape, providing a unique event focusing on Arab and British cultures, and celebrating them.
Our objective for this event was to build on the relationship between London and the Arab world; learning what we can do to achieve a better cultural platform for artists, designers and authors from the Arab world in London. In doing so the event also helps to promote a better cultural understanding of the Arab world.
The London Arabia 2018 will aim to be even greater, we were delighted to include the book fair to our established art exhibition & fashion show in 2017. This year we have added an incredible opportunity for aspiring artists & designers from the Arab world. We are pleased to say that we will be working with Harvey Nichols London in producing the London Arabia Art & Fashion Week Pop-up Shop. The pop-up shop will be held for a two-week period from the 2nd to the 16th of August, on the 5th floor of Harvey Nichols. We are offering designers from the Arab world the highly exclusive chance to sell their designs at the Harvey Nichols flagship store – one of the world most fashionable department stores in the world, in the height of summer.
